HS-950 is a high-performance adhesion promoter that is designed to create intrinsic bond to the most difficult surfaces and products including for high-temperature applications. It allows top coats to be applied successfully to polyethalene (PEG) sheeting and similar, silicone surfaces allowing for intra-coat adhesion on or in between silazane and similar chemistries. HS-950 is applied in a micro-thin film by wipe-on or by HVLP with a fine mist.
This primer is a high-temperature/performance, single component, ambient curable, semi-clear product that gives added adhesion for those questionable surfaces such as silicones or similar surfaces. It was chemically designed to create a covalent bond to substrate materials.
This product may be applied directly to substrate surfaces where there are concerns of proper adhesion due to potential contamination (i.e., silicones, hard anodizing processes, etc.). It may also be used over any other cured coatings to achieve good intra-coat adhesion where damaged coatings are involved.
HS-950 is a low VOC solvent based hybrid-ceramic clear primer that has been formulated to help achieve added adhesion to most plastics or other difficult to adhere to surfaces (i.e., Gel-coat or similar products that may have waxes or other unknown residues that cannot be easily removed).
- Normal application is by spray or wipe
- Applies as a thin film 3-6 micron is ample (recoatable with itself)
- Ambient cures, short dry time
