The HS-922 is a single component solution that ambient cures creating and intrinsic bond to the substrate material penetrating deep into the fibers offering a self-lubricating dry fill on each fiber or stitching, greatly reducing fiber wear and excellent water repellent and hydrophobic properties. It is for heavy service woven cloth goods and fibrous surfaces.
This is a VOC-exempt coating solvent solution that will create an extremely water repellent hydrophobic surface that allows fabrics and fibers to shed water quickly yet allows them to breathe and have an additional level of UV protection. It offer greater fire resistance and lubricates fibers reducing fiber wear.
This coating will leave cloth fabrics soft and supple, not hard or rigid, and is an ideal product for heavy service sail cloth, fabrics, ropes, and cords.
This product is for flexible waterproof membranes such as Hapalon and similar fabrics. This solvent-based nano-ceramic coating penetrates and created a covalent bond to the substrate sealing the micro-pores leaving the surface extremely hyrophobic reducing the drag coefficient when moving through the water or other medium.
The application is best by wiping through spray, or dip is acceptable, dependent on the article being coated. Ambient cure, short dry time.
